Or, if you prefer, I am an independent thinker practicing the <a href=\"http:\/\/kevinrayarcher.com\/WordPress\/pmsc-dissent\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fine art of dissent<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I am the author of <em><a href=\"http:\/\/kevinrayarcher.com\/WordPress\/in-lieu-of-heaven\/\">In Lieu of Heaven<\/a><\/em>, a novel which explores the character of the biblical god and presents a good argument for his dismissal. I have decades of experience as a public speaker and performer, in venues ranging from public schools and churches to honky tonks and art festivals.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, I lead <a href=\"http:\/\/kevinrayarcher.com\/WordPress\/pmsc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Peace Meal Supper Club&#x2122;<\/a>, a series of fine dining events focused on socially progressive themes. Through the use of multiple media forms&#8211;word, food, music, and film\u2014these immersive events explore the ethical impact of our eating choices.<\/p>\n<p>I have worked as culinary director, executive chef, and general manager at several landmark restaurants across the country. To dig deeper into food issues&#8211;the environment, pollinator depopulation, food insecurity&#8211;I became an organic farmer in 2017, in Woodford County, Kentucky. I transitioned from full-time farmer to full-time writer in 2025. Whew. <\/p>\n<p>I am a frequent presenter at festivals throughout the eastern US. YES!
