I took care of them on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Another told me of a book she read recently,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And I remember the book on plant intelligence that I’d like to discuss with her\u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If I finish reading it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Did that on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So then to the menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I began planning it on Monday<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As the windows were drying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I shopped on Tuesday,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So prep began today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Then I remembered to ask them about their heat tolerances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So with beans on the stove and chiles in my hands,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I texted them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In came the numbers:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1 out of 10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2.5 out of 10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
